A Y DNA test at FTDNA of 37 or more markers is required to be in the project. See the FTDNA products.
It is not sufficient to have a man named Conley in the ancestry. The DIRECT PATERNAL LINE of the man who tests must be of men named Conley.
If your last name is NOT Conley but you think you are eligible, read the FTDNA FAQ carefully for prerequisites BEFORE you click JOIN. The FAQ also lists options for non-eligible researchers.

While you are waiting for your Y DNA test results, you can read the FTDNA FAQ for details on account setup; read the DNA tutorial for details on navigating and interpreting Y results, etc.
The results of the project at FTDNA are private BY DEFAULT, visible ONLY to FTDNA account holders. Except for data on the results pages here, data is not public. So if you have a relative tested, you'll need access to the relative's account if you want to see results and matches!!
