The overwhelming majority of Conley project members fall somewhere under R1b, which is not surprising since it is the dominant Y haplogroup of Europe. Significant Conley groups emerging under R1b:

- DF21 > ... Z3000 (Clan Colla)
- M222 > ... A260 > FGC5939
- M222 > ... A260 > BY11724 > A10525
- CTS4466 > FTC236270
- Z253 > ... S845

Several members fall under SNPs linked to Clan Colla (Z3000).

Other project members fall in a substream under Z253, which is heavily weighted in Ireland and Scotland. Z253 is a parent haplogroup of the Irish Dal Cais (L226); our Connollys are in a sister branch under S844.

Yet another important SNP emerging in the project is under R-M222, which is so heavily concentrated in Northern Ireland and Scotland. A10525 is the substream of interest.
